Today at around 11 am local time, the volcano erupted once more. It was a slightly bigger, phreatic eruption, which produced an ash cloud of about 2 km height and which was accompagnied by a small, local earthquake of 2.8 magnitude. The Agung is still constantly monitored and the situation is evaluated permanently. The alert level continues to be on the second highest level.
