The Agung still keeps us in suspense. Because of the seismic activity and other signs the experts don't dare to lower the alert level. Level 4 it is. The crater is about half filled with lava, which is slowly solidifying at the surface. Nobody knows how mach more magma will be pushed up. At least, thanks to a knight in shining armour, we have new spectacular pictures of the inner crater. On this one, the solidifying lava looks like a cork with smoke pouring out from underneath. Well, let's hope this cork is not suddenly going to pop with a very loud bang. Nobody would be amused. Not even on New Years Eve.
