Today, there are still thick ash clouds raising above the crater of Agung. The airport of Bali is closed for another day. On the northern slopes of the volcano there are a lot of small to middle sized lahars going down, also called "cold lava", avalanches of ash, sand and water. There are no clues which suggest that there have been victims, so far. Only an awful lot of posts with pictures on facebook and other social media. Just one slightly ominous event today at around 2 pm: a lengthy earthquake, which we didn't notice at all here.
