Yesterday evening, the volcano produced a second, more vigorous eruption. Here, 20 km away, we haven't heard or felt anything. This morning, we can see an ash cloud which will probably miss us narrowly if the wind direction doesn't change. The ash cloud stretches 1500 meters into the air. Some flights were cancelled or diverted as the VONA set the aviation alert on red. The alert level of the volcano was not raised. As before, we still have alert level 3 with a 6 km radius exclusion zone around Mount Agung. Again, this was apparently a phreatic explosion. There is no sign of lava. Life in our village goes on as usual.
